Landscapes, places and the lost sense of belonging… the simple glimpse of a moment and the need to capture it.

A fascination with fluid boundaries, tide lines, weather fronts, cloud formations and scudding skies. The appeal to an unsettled, shifting, fluctuating, mobile landscape.

An horizon that always contains a trait: a dark tree, sharp mountains… Indications of shorelines ,estuaries, marshes are evident. Always referencing something tangible, be it the observed or the recollected, just leaving behind the elemental colours through a tactile surface.
